We planned our trip to Bohol for 2 weeks only and after reviewing all others airlines the most affordable ticket we can get our hands to for the dates we want is by Airphil Express. Its my first time to use their service and if first impression really last I could say I would never use their services again..
We bought our ticket in their main ticketing office which is in MIA rd Paranaque because their promo offer is book and buy but since I don't want to use credit card we decided to go to the ticketing office instead. Their staff are accommodating but the office needs additional waiting chairs. They need to hire additional staff as well because it took us 1 and half hours just to buy our ticket due to staff shortage, there's only 2 open windows when we got there. In this Airline you have you have to check in 2 hours before ETD(departure time) or your ticket will be offered to others. So be ready to wait in the airport and do nothing for 2 hours. Their Airport in Manila is in NAIA 3, which is a plus for me because its spacious, new and modern. Check in counters are fast we checked in our baggage in 8 mins time with 5 people in line. Our Estimated Departure Time was supposed to be 11 : 40 AM but we departed at 12:50 which makes 3 hours for our waiting time in the airport. They said that the reason for the delay was due to air traffic.
For the Airplane itself it was okay but the chairs are so close to each other, if your tall it's going to be a long flight for you because its really hard to move. The plane we used was Airbus A320 which I think is too small to have that many chairs. It's not my first time to ride a plane but with this flight I thought my eardrums will bleed, the pressure in my ears hurts so much that I was a little deaf in my right ears for days. To think that we only flew 1 hr and 5 mins. Flight attendants are very accommodating but no free water, but I think all airlines doesn't have free anymore. We bought water for 50php each for 250 ml 3 times its SRP. Take off is a little bumpy but landing was smooth. In our whole flight I never felt nervous with the plane or how the pilot is running the plane because its new and our pilot is from the air force I think. Waiting time for the baggage is 10 to 15 mins which is fast enough for me, I just wish that next time they finish giving the suitcases first before giving the big check-in items such as bikes. We reached our destination safe and sound but I think I won't be using their services anytime soon.
